These terms cover use of gutmaxx.co.uk (the Gutmaxx fibre tracker and related pages). Last updated 6 September 2026. Privacy is explained separately in the privacy policy.

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Gutmaxx.

The service

Gutmaxx is a free tool for logging typical UK supermarket portions toward 30g of fibre a day. Pages such as high fibre foods UK are guides, not a prescription.

Not medical advice. Figures are estimates. Pack labels win. Gutmaxx is not affiliated with the NHS. If you have a bowel condition, are on a restricted diet, or fibre has made you unwell, speak to a GP or dietitian before you change much. If you feel unwell after increasing fibre, stop and get proper advice.

No charge on this site

The tracker is free. Gutmaxx does not take card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or your supermarket login. You always pay a shop on the shop’s own site if you choose to buy something. See shops and payments.

Shop and affiliate links

Some shop links are affiliate links. If you buy after clicking, Gutmaxx may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Retailers set their own prices, stock, and terms. We do not guarantee that a listing is in date or that a product suits you.

Accounts

You can use the tracker without an account. If you sign up, you must use an email you control, keep the password to yourself, and be 16 or over. You are responsible for activity on the account.

You may delete the account and every saved day from My log. We may suspend or delete an account that is abusive, automated spam, or a risk to the site.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, scrape at a harmful rate, or misuse the site (including other people’s accounts). Do not use Gutmaxx to give medical advice to others as if it came from us.

Content and intellectual property

Gutmaxx branding, layout, and original copy on this site belong to us. You may not copy the site as a competing product. You may link to public pages. Food names and retailer brands belong to their owners.

Availability

We aim to keep the tracker up. We do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect gram figures, or that a particular food or shop link will remain. We may change or withdraw features.

Liability

Gutmaxx is provided “as is” for general information and habit tracking. To the fullest extent UK law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on portion estimates, shop listings, or downtime. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

UK law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may also bring a claim in your UK living place if you are a consumer.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
